Pedagogy

The mobile library visits our community partners weekly, bringing free access to books to enhance literacy and develop personal capacities.

To achieve these goals, the Chapateca Association has carefully crafted a unique, structured routine. It consists of five distinct “moments,” each flowing into the next. At the end of each activity, a ring signals a transition, guiding the children to tidy up and smoothly move on, with clear explanations of what’s coming next. Each week introduces a new theme, woven throughout the routine to help children strengthen their Portuguese language skills.

Through active participation, children are encouraged to speak, express their feelings, and form opinions, promoting both language development and critical thinking.
